In my eighth summer vegetable garden in Alentejo, I decided to try some of Benjy’s seedlings, which I had previously thought were too expensive. The results were fantastic. One Hokkaido squash vine climbed to the shade cover then spread horizontally more than 8 meters. I got more than 10 fat gourds, and new blossoms are still appearing in mid August. The cucumbers were better than any I had before.

Unfortunately I only bought 2 plants at Sao Martinho market from Benji. Both are very healthy and grow fantastic compared to others in the same plant bed. Very sweet guy with true passion and lot of knowledge - go get your plants there!
