The red garden report is an annual, ancient and forgotten vegetable, spice, dye and medicinal plant. The vegetable variety developed in ancient times is one of the oldest cultivated plants and was already around 800 n. Chr. Mainly grown in the Mediterranean in Europe and Asia. The variety grows robustly, with high-growing plants and forms numerous large, red-purple, matte and heart-shaped leaves. The taste is very mild and spinach-like, with a delicate structure. The vitamin and mineral-rich leaves are eaten raw or prepared like spinach. Optimal for self-sufficiency and a good source of biomass for green manure. For early sowing in the year.

General
For a long harvest period, harvest only 1/3 of the leaves. We recommend sprinkler or no-till sown in rows when reporting.
The variety prefers a sunny to partially shaded location with a moist, loamy, humous and nutrient-containing soil.

Additional tips
In order to quickly obtain a fine, crumbly and well-drained soil, an additional incorporation of biochar and primeval rock flour is recommended.

Type of propagation
Spread occurs via seeds.

Care Plants
The plant is optimally grown at a height of about. Harvested 40 cm and then shortened by 20 cm, this stimulates the plant to shoot again, which extends the harvest. The bed in the report should ideally never dry out completely, regular watering has a positive effect on the growth of the plants. A loosened and a prepared soil is sufficient.
