The conservation and global organization of the dissemination of heirloom vegetable and medicinal plants requires a great deal of time, space, material input, discipline, and commitment. Propagating seeds to a high quality level, or until an heirloom variety is available again for cultivation in the garden or field, usually requires years of research, conservation breeding, and propagation work. The physical and spiritual support we offer to the public free of charge also requires a great deal of time and a certain amount of material investment.
