Green Manure

Green manure – seeds for open‑pollinated varieties that improve soil structure, invigorate the soil and maintain long‑term fertility. Includes deep‑rooting, fast‑growing or floriferous species that enrich the soil with nutrients, build humus or suppress competing weeds. These crops reliably cover the soil, protect it from drying out and promote active soil life. Ideal for gardens, raised beds, fallow areas and sunny fields. Sowing, depending on the species, takes place directly into the bed from spring to autumn; some species are also suitable for late autumn sowings for overwintering.
