Tips & Reviews

Wild garlic is a perennial spice and medicinal plant and occurs wild in almost all of Europe and northern Asia. Related to chives, onions and garlic, it can be found wild in damp meadows, shady and damp meadows, under bushes and in deciduous and mountain forests. Wild garlic has a long history that dates back to the Neolithic period. Traditional medicine used wild garlic as a medicinal plant until the 16th century, before it fell into oblivion.
It has large, long-oval leaves and a pleasantly strong garlic aroma. Under optimal conditions it can develop its ground-covering properties by forming numerous daughter bulbs. When conditions are less favorable, it just congregates. As a rule, wild garlic is not grown in beds; it is suitable for growing it wild in a suitable place in the garden under deciduous trees. It has an antibacterial effect, lowers blood pressure and is versatile.
